Brief introduction:The LA-Raman cell is one type of in-situ Lithium-air-battery cells for Raman and other optical characterization. The in-situ cell can be assisted in collecting various of optical data online in the process of charging and discharging, such as optical microscope, Raman spectrometer (all of those tests are at reflective modes). The in-situ cell overcomes the shortcomings of the normal cells. It can effectively solve samples’ re-contamination during transferring and other related issues. The collected in-situ Raman spectra can also provide a more real and effective evidence for the entire electrochemical process.

Main features

1. The in-situ cell is designed for in-situ Raman spectrum and other optical detection, which is based on the basic principle of lithium-air batteries;

2. During the charging-discharging process, the Raman data of the electrode materials can be collected online (reflection mode) by this in-situ cell;

3. To match different models of Raman spectrometers and infrared spectrometers, the in-situ cell is designed with a favorable size of φ50*<26mm;

4. For Raman detection, the minimum working distance can be controlled into 5mm, and can be adjusted according to customer requirements ;

5. The windows materials can be chose by high quality quartz or sapphire materials.

6. The in-situ cell is equipped with two gas junctions on the main part to facilitate the control of the atmosphere during the experiment;

7. According to user needs, the gas junctions can be shut down or opened at any time for both of inlet and outlet sides;

8. The cell has a high-precision 18 mm diameter sandwich geometry, the electrode concentricity can be reach <0.1 mm;

9. Fluorine gaskets are used to seal all the cell, making sure the overall system sealing;

10. In the assembly process, the electrode materials and electrolyte can be easily assembled; meanwhile, all components can also be easily disassembled and cleaned.

11. The in-situ cell can be reused.

Optional accessories: Optical windows of various sizes, including: optical quartz window, single crystal alumina window and so on.
