Brief introduction:The LIB-HMS cell is an in-situ optical device with a variable temperature environment, which is an update version of LIB-MS. The in-situ device not only has the functions of the conventional imaging cell, but also because of the addition of the temperature adjustment function, it can realize the direct imaging observation of the microstructure change process such as lithium dendrites and SEI film under different high temperature environments. The temperature adjustment range is RT-100°C. (The specific observation magnification is determined by the microscope magnification).

Main features

 

1. The in-situ cell is designed for in-situ microscopic imaging and other optical characterization with a temperature environment;

 

2. During the normal charging and discharging process of the device, it can realize the online observation of the growth state of lithium dendrites under different temperature and environmental fields;

 

3. The in-situ cell is heated with an internal heating structure of the battery, heating range: RT-100°C, temperature control accuracy: ±1°C;

 

4. The device is heated to the sample position by a built-in heating furnace, and the working voltage is 24V;

 

5. The in-situ cell is made of PEEK with a small size, easy to assemble, suitable for all kinds of optical microscopes;

 

6. window size:< = φ10*0.5mm, windows materials: High quality quartz or sapphire, and the working distance is set as 10mm;

 

7. Fluorine gaskets are used to seal all the cell, making sure the overall system sealing;

 

8. In the assembly process, the electrode materials and electrolyte can be easily assembled; meanwhile, all components can also be easily disassembled and cleaned.

 

9. The in-situ cell can be reused.

 

Optional accessories: Optical windows of various sizes, including: optical quartz window, single crystal alumina window and so on.
