The LIB-MS-R cell is one update version of LIB-MS in-situ optical cell. Due to the consideration of the replaceable electrode, this update in-situ optical cell is more suitable for the observation of dendrite growth under a variety of working conditions. The standard gold electrode and glassy carbon electrode can perfectly realize the observation of dendrite growth under different electrode conditions. It can help researchers observe the nucleation and growth of lithium dendrite and the morphological evolution of the SEI film on the cross section. (the specific magnification is determined by the magnification of the microscope).

Main features

 

1. The in-situ cell is designed for in-situ microscopic imaging and other optical characterization, which is based on the basic principle of lithium-ion or other rechargeable batteries;

2. During the charging-discharging process, the in-situ cell can help researchers observe the nucleation and growth of lithium dendrite and the morphological evolution of the SEI film on the cross section;

3. A replaceable electrode mode is added into the in-situ cell, which can be adapted to the reaction of Li to various different electrodes, fully considering the influence of the gas in it, and can realize the function of adding electrolyte online and removing bubbles

4. Two different electrode materials become the standard attachment. The gold electrode is suitable for Li to general cathode or anode materials; glassy carbon electrode is suitable for Li to Li reaction

5. To match different models of Optical microscopes, the in-situ cell is designed with a favorable size of 50*50*23mm;

6. window size:> = φ30*0.5mm, windows materials: High quality quartz or sapphire, can be customized according to customer requirements;

7. Fluorine gaskets are used to seal all the cell, making sure the overall system sealing;

8. In the assembly process, the electrode materials and electrolyte can be easily assembled; meanwhile, all components can also be easily disassembled and cleaned.

9. The in-situ cell can be reused.

Optional accessories: Optical windows of various sizes, including: optical quartz window, single crystal alumina window and so on.
